oes it have an internal check valve to prevent oil backflow?
Answer:not sure don't believe it does but I've never had a problem
2.Question:What is the Warranty on this pump?
Answer:One year and I wouldn't worry about ever having a problem. I have used Robinair products for a lot of years and never had to send anything in for warranty. I just bought the 15500 vacuum pump. Like I say Robinair is the best in refrigerant equipment.

Answer:It can be used for R12 there is an adapter AND O'reilly auto parts stocks it.
