I think all these high interest loan companies should be shut down, 1000% interest on some, no wonder so many people are in debt.

I AGREE 1000%.

I don’t know the exact ones but does it really matter? All of them are ridiculously high and aimed at poor people who see no other option and then end up in debt for god knows how many years over a small amount they actually got in the first place.

I know coz ive been there and believe me it’s not pretty, I’m so glad I managed to get out of debt and haven’t had any for 8 years now, most unlike me may not be able to dig themselves out and are left with no other option, these companies and online gambling sites should be closed.

It accidentally lent itself a fiver.

You win the Internet today!

Nick Farina Newsthump would like its joke back.

Xander what no way?! I'll see them in court.

Karma for taking advantage of people with serious financial problems. Adios Wonga!

They made it easy for people with poor credit to get loans because the interest rate is substantially higher than proper companies then wondered why people didn't pay them back.

If people, did not live beyond their means, then all these loans company's would suffer.

I’ve personally never had one but can see how people who are desperate for money might do, many are using this money for day to day living, be happy and grateful that your life is so good that you’re not that desperate.

Shame people have to choose between eating or heating to live within their means. Anything bad happens and no saving's and yous be looking for a quick loan to fix the fridge or wasing machine.

Such smugness.

Be grateful you have never hit the levels of poverty and desperation where you have needed one.

We use them to put fuel in our cars to get to work, so we can earn a wage to pay rent etc. We use them to fix cars, buy food and clothes etc. Unfortunately some of us don't earn megabucks and can be all smug and righteous about it.

That's a bit judgemental. So if they don't have the means to buy food, they should go hungry by your logic.

That's so so simple. If life was only like that. Often people who use these tyoe of companies are so desperate they have no choice. Obviously you've never lived in poverty to make that statement.

I’ll loan them 10k but I want 1 billion % per day back payable in advance
😂
😂
😂

They will not be missed.

See these loan companies get people into debt there's too many off them it's always the vulnerable falls victim to them far too many adverts aswell shouldn't be allowed.

It could consolidate all it's loans into one easy payment with Ocean Finance.

Would be nice if all the glorified loan shark companies would go the same way. Unfortunately there’s a lot of desperate people who find themselves in difficult positions and aren’t simply living beyond their means.

Some can't live within their means, especially if they've to travel for work.

About time, people at time need to loan money and if done responsibly and fairly it should exist but these people are wrong on so many levels!

Can we get rid of amigo loans next? Can't pay? Your mate will.

I wonder what went wonga?

If Wonga need any money, they take a loan out from me, it's 1000% interest at 4749% APR.

In the seventies and eighties these companies were called loan sharks. Targeting the poor and vulnerable people to live outside of their means. If you want the latest tech, nice clothes, or a new car, save the money, rather than borrowing it.

Well I'm sure they can resolve their financial troubles with a pay day loan!

Ahh it should have to pay back its debts with 10,000 %interest scum company.

Was it the 16265215% APR on that quid they borrowed that got them?

Even after taking the high interests from pay day loans it's still collapsing. Illogical and unethical business model.

I’ll lend them a grand at 1000% APR if they like? Karma of greed.....

Not good for employees but an immoral business.

Quick quick think!

Perhaps they should take out a loan from QuickQuid. Ya know, until they restore some control.

Good. Serves them right for charging several million percent interest (and that's only a slight exaggeration). That whole industry is basically legalised theft.

People should borrow from their local Credit Union not payday lenders. Maximum interest rates by law of 12.68% APR - far cheaper than any payday lender.

I can’t wait for them to get a loan and see what interest rate they have to pay.

Hey Wonga take a Payday loan , that should help .
