The T20 Cricket festival is just getting started in the Caribbean and we’ve already seen some bewildering performances and close finishes. The sixth match of the Caribbean Premier League will see two heavyweights lock horns today, on 21st August. The match will be played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba.

This will be the second match for both the teams. Knight Riders won their opening match against Guyana Amazon Warriors, thanks to an all-round performance from Sunil Narine (50 from with bat, 2/18 with the ball). On the other hand, Jamaica defeated St. Lucia Zouks by 5 wkts after chasing down the target of 159 successfully with 7 balls to spare. So both the teams will look to extend their winning run in the tournament.

Knight Riders will once again be looking at Sunil Narine to deliver both with the bat and ball. Colin Munro, Darren Bravo, and Lendl Simmons were also impressive in the match against Guyana. But a late collapse will be a worrying sign for Kieron Pollard. The bowlers also did a decent job with Ali Khan conceding only 21 from his one over and Narine picking up two.

Guyana which boasts of finishers like Dre Russ, Carlos Brathwaite, Asif Ali are a nightmare for any team. In their first match when the team got reduced to 84-4 while chasing, Asif took charge and smashed a match-winning 47*.

The rain is not expected to be present as per meteorological data. But both teams would like to bowl first to get the DL method advantage just in case.

In head to head comparison, the two teams have met 16 times in CPL. 9 of them were won by the Jamaican team while 7 matches saw Knight Riders. So in that regard, JT are nose ahead. Both teams are expected to remain unchanged
