It’s a journalist who exposed and brought down Nixon,no wonder an occupational hazard for the corrupt and powerful.Long live unbiased journalism.

"The media" is the voice of the people. Why on EARTH would you trust a politician over a writer?

Correction - SOME media is the voice of the people. Most of it is owned and operated by massive corporations who have their own set of political biases.

Trump aside, there's a growing distrust in the media and you can even look up the statistics on it. It's no secret that writers will write headlines with hot or controversial terms just for views, despite the article itself being mundane. Corporations make it worse as they have manipulation down to a science. Your emotions are their profit after all.

There's just simply too much bias in journalism these days, regardless of what side of the aisle you're on.

Jak Lawrence all media is. "The people" don't speak with one voice any more than "the media" does. It is meant to be varied, contrary, extreme, insane, and neutral - all of the things the varied personalities of the country are.

Although, if you're on social media commenting on a media source about how much you don't trust the media, you're already so deeply part of the "corrupt system" that I have no idea why anyone is bothering with the mind-numbingly pointless masochism that is responding to you.

Saddest thing is we have a president who has no concern for his citizens. Inciting violence won’t phase him; he’s either too hateful or stupid - or both.

He gives license to people who want to act out their uncivil, antisocial fantasies. He would bring down all the pillars of this democratic, constitutional republic, and this congress has cynically enabled him.

The media reports what we can see and hear for ourselves and still they yell "Fake News"! I agree there is daily reports on Trump that are not flattering but saying this is the work of the media instead of the intentional headline grabbing 45 is just ignorant. People say the media lies yet they give no examples except to say "they know" or "they feel".

"I heard" is a good one too. Even if what they *heard* has been proven BS beyond all rational doubt. Just ask the flat-earthers.

New York Times does not practice journalism , it does have many single sided stories though .

Of course it practices journalism. It may have bias. It's not the same. Omg, our education system is broken af.

Another hand wringing headline from the BBC. Oh the irony , champions of freedom of speech providing its their own liberal left viewpoint !

Laziest President in history Donald Tr*mp! Putin's Poodle.

Trump, slowly eroding American values of freedom of press, speech and religion. America going from standing up to the tyrants that lead country's to being led by a tyrant.

Doing his best to divide this country.

He isn't going to. And people need to realize that if there is a Blue Wave, the hate will boil out of him for the next two years over them, too. Anybody who is in a position to hold him accountable is going to be non-stop attacked, and people need to hear that for the whining to escape consequences that it is.

More people in high places need to start speaking up!!

hey are not the voice of the people they are there only to say what they think will sell papers. I wish they would only state the facts that they know are really true n quite trying to stir up the people. This world has enough heart ache without adding to it.

Gag the press and the Goverment will suppress the people. We never learn, do we?
